Lotus start fundraiser for Fragadelphia's CS/DO

Another women's team might be headed to Philly.

Just a few days after Karma raised over $2,000 and Shimmer began a fundraiser, which has raised almost $1,000 at the time of publication, Lotus are also looking to get some financial aid from the community in order to play the CS/DO LAN.

While signing up as a team costs $450 for this event, many expenses can set the players back, even more so given that these teams are paying out of their own pocket.

Lotus are going through an eventful couple of months, as the team has been negotiating contracts since December 10th, and recently added a new AWPer in Kiki "PiggyKiki" Long while Robin "rbn" Bondari has gone from stand-in to official player. Furthermore, Daria "daria" Anokhina, who is Ukrainian, has finally secured her Visa, enabling the team to attend LAN events throughout North America. Finally, the team has added Austin "mesamiduck" Dardar as a coach.

In a recent Dust2.us article regarding the contract situation, Victor "Ink", Lotus' General Manager, revealed that the squad had left Tsunami Sirens, whom they had been representing for free since December. Ink added that the players would still be getting paid but out of his pocket, while the roster is looking for a new home.

The team has raised $250 at the time of publication. If you want to help Lotus get to Philadelphia and play in the CS/DO tournament, you can do so here.
