Not a good day at the office

FURIA bounced from BLAST Spring Showdown CQ

A sad day for Brazilians.

It was another loss to the Swedes from Metizport today as FURIA have finally been eliminated from the RES Western European Masters Spring BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.

FURIA got another bite at the apple today when they effectively took down ex-Anonymo, but they could not pull through to beat Metizport for the second time today with this matchup coming on Mirage.

The first half was a tough one for FURIA as they initially started out strong with a 3-1 lead, only to see Linus "nilo" Bergman and his teammates coming back to secure a 8-4 T-side half in their favor.

It went from bad to worse for FURIA on their T-side as they failed to find a single round until match point, but by then it was too late. Metizport closed out the half and would win 13-5 to advance to the playoffs.

FURIA have now been eliminated twice from the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown qualifiers, having tried earlier in the week to advance out of the open qualifiers.
