Wolffe out of Take Flyte: "I don’t believe in the new system"

Wolffe has exited the team after six months due to a change in direction.

Long-time Take Flyte member Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield has announced his departure from the lineup, citing disagreements over the team's new direction. Wolffe was a veteran of Take Flyte, having replaced Mohamed "Penguin" Algadir in November 2022.

While Wolffe did not specifically reference any specific change in his tweet, he told Dust2.us that the team's decision to favor a more passive playstyle in contrast to his preference for more aggressive play motivated him to exit the team.

Take Flyte recently replaced IGL Alexander "zanz" Diaz with Noah "Nifty" Francis and added Luke "Viathan" Carstens as coach, likely driving the change in the team's playstyle.

In Wolffe's place, Viathan confirmed Take Flyte have brought in organization alumnus Owen "SummY" Mustard. SummY was previously tied to Zomblers down in ESEA Advanced.

Take Flyte are now:

  • United States Umar "Umar" Qaiser

  • United States Nicholas "nicx" Lee

  • United States Noah "Nifty" Francis

  • United States Liam "xCAPE" Redmond

  • Owen "SummY" Mustard

  • United States Luke "Viathan" Carstens (Coach)

Take Flyte's currently have a 1-1 record in ESL Challenger League Season 45. Their next match will be against MIBR on May 10th.
