Voltage will focus on school

Voltage unplugs, announces retirement

The American AWPer will pursue further education.

Logan "Voltage" Long, formerly of Dignitas, has announced his retirement from competitive Counter-Strike on Twitter today.

In his TwitLonger, Voltage spoke about the challenges of balancing professional play and attending high school. He also said that losing so many games in Pro League as well as in qualifiers demotivated him and made him question what he truly wanted. At the end, Voltage says that he likely will not return CS or esports again.

Dignitas, who are currently in ESEA MDL Season 28, have already defeated ex-Atmosphere in week one. Their next match is scheduled to be against ex-Torqued on May 30th. Dignitas is also set to compete in the ZOTAC Cup Master North America closed qualifier beginning on June 9th.
