Spirit - FaZe matchup broke 1.1M concurrent viewers

A massive amount of viewers.

Last night was an exciting night for Counter-Strike fans as the first CS2 Major in Copenhagen finally reached the playoff stage. The action heated up with Vitality swiftly taking down Cloud9 before Spirit and FaZe got their match underway.

It was a battle of two titans, with FaZe looking to cement themselves as one of the best CS2 teams so far in the game's history while the reigning IEM Katowice 2024 champions wanted to continue their dominance thanks to the young prodigy Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.

While the game went back and forth last night, more than 1.1 million fans tuned into the game across all platforms to watch the match. Brazilian streamer Alexandre "gAuLeS" Borba was one of the bigger attractions for the match as more than 200,000 fans were tuned into his channel to watch the game - which was not affiliated with PGL.

In comparison to the previous BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, the viewership surpasses that of every other match except for the Grand Final.
