Congrats on the win vs paiN. Did you think there was a difference in preparedness coming in directly to the Elimination Stage versus paiN coming from the Opening Stage?

I'd say there's personally there's an advantage if you come in from the later stages because you don't have as recent stuff for the other team to look at. We can look at their games and see that they've been grinding through the Challengers Stage and we have more fresh data for them compared to us. We're at bootcamp adding a bunch of new stuff. There's definitely an advantage in showing your hand later.

The conventional thinking among fans is you get more LAN reps in, you're more fresh, and you're saying that's completely different?

I would say its good to have the reps. You're staying hot and you know what you're doing is working, but I'd say there's an advantage coming in the later stage because you're not showing your hand you have more fresh stuff compared to showing it all in the Challengers Stage. You don't have to use your playbook; there's always more to study if you come in from a later stage.

You had some chatter about "less yapping, more shooting back", how does that impact you coming into the Major?

Yeah Jon [EliGE] tells me "stop yapping, start shooting" cause sometimes I get in this "IGL-brain" moment where, even though I'm not an IGL, I'm just thinking of everything and trying to comm so much that I'm not focused on my crosshair and someone peeks me and I end up dying. It's happened a few times now, it's just like "stop talking and let's go shoot them, man". Ever since then, it's honestly been paying off for me. I've been playing pretty well recently so I just gotta stop yapping apparently and keep shooting.

Complexity and Grim will be in action later today in their 1-0 match against HEROIC at 02:45PM.
