Shimmer begin fundraising for Fragadelphia trip

Impact teams are showing out for LAN.

The North American Impact scene is turning out for the regional LAN scene as Shimmer have announced their intention to attend the Philadelphia event. One of the best unsigned Impact rosters in the circuit, Shimmer are now asking for financial help to offset the cost of their journey.

Shimmer has consistently been one of the better teams to emerge from North America, having consistently won ESL Impact Cash Cups and made the LAN Finals for Impact in Seasons 3 and 4.

The squad were strong last season in Impact, only dropping five maps throughout the season as they came second behind FlyQuest RED. Now, the team is looking to further improve their chemistry by attending Fragdelphia's CS/DO LAN this March.

"We spent a lot of time figuring out if we could make the money work, and we are really taking a leap to do this," explained Shimmer's Manager Scott "ParkS" Park explained to Dust2.us. "With wanting to show what we can do, it only seems like the logical step to go to more LANs as a team".

On the GoFundMe page, the ParkS explains that funds donated will be used to help contribute to flights and accommodations. The team will be producing content throughout the journey and all donations are appreciated.
