Tsunami Sirens make rbn official; trying out new fifth

The team has been missing one piece since November.

After announcing the departure of Kate "Kate" Toth due to her committing to school full-time, Tsunami Sirens have finally announced that Robin "rbn" Bondari will be a permanent addition to the squad after having stood in since November.

Although rbn is now part of the Sirens, the organization is holding tryouts to fill the void left by Kate, searching for a new player that can help the team reach the much coveted ESL Impact Season 5 LAN Finals. In the meantime, Erin will be standing-in for Kate's former spot.

Before joining the Tsunami Sirens as a stand-in, rbn played for Totsugeki, a mixteam, during ESL Impact Season 4, ending the North American division in sixth place with just two wins.

The Tsunami Sirens will be trying to replicate and even improve on their last ESL Impact season, as they ended the Season 4 North American division in third place, with the same points as Shimmer, but due to the tie-breaker rules, Shimmer wound up traveling to Spain. The team retains the direct invite to ESL Impact League Season 5 NA by keeping the core of last season's squad despite all of the roster changes the Sirens have been going through.

ESL Impact Season 5 starts on February 12th with the first open qualifier, which the Tsunami Sirens won't need to play. The regional group stage will begin on March 6th, and the Sirens have until then to find a fifth player.

The Tsunami Sirens are:

  • United States Mira "mira" Luna

  • Daria "daria" Anokhina

  • United States Lydia "Fawx" Dalton

  • United States Robin "rbn" Bondari

  • United States "Erin" (Coach)
