Kate leaves Tsunami Sirens to focus on school

The team is now looking for a new player.

Tsunami Sirens have announced that Kate "Kate" Toth is no longer part of the squad after she decided to shift her focus to Computer Engineering Space School, leaving the squad after almost five months.

During that time period, Kate averaged a 1.05 rating while helping the Sirens get an invite to the regional stage of ESL Impact League Season 5.

With Kate's departure, Tsunami Sirens are now looking for a replacement and have to do so in a timely manner, as the ESL Impact League Season 5 starts on February 12th with the first open qualifier for the regional stage. Although Tsunami Sirens are already confirmed to be playing in the North American group stage, they won't be able to pick up players who qualified through the qualifiers but can add players who didn't qualify.

This is not the only roster move within the squad as Robin "rbn" Bondari, the former Totsugeki rifler, has formally joined Tsunami Sirens after appearing as a stand-in after Casey "chigen" Glerb left back in November. She has been labeled as a stand-in since then, although the Twitter account for the team has recently stopped adding "(Stand-In)" in front of rbn's name.

With this news, Tsunamis Sirens' roster currently is:

  • United States Mira "mira" Luna

  • Daria "daria" Anokhina

  • United States Lydia "Fawx" Dalton

  • United States Robin "rbn" Bondari (Stand-in)

  • United States "Erin" (Coach)
