V8 go inactive and release team

V8 is put on hold as the CEO decides to take a break from esports.

The organization's CEO Stephen "FYIJuncaj" Juncaj came out on Twitter today to announce that because of personal reasons, the organization will be ceasing operations until further notice and releasing their CS:GO squad.

In his TwitLonger, FYIJuncaj said that he will be stepping away from V8 to take a break and analyze what the organization has achieved so far. He also states that after running V8 for nearly eight months he burned himself out and that he would use this time as a recovery period. It is important to note that all the players' contracts were terminated in the process.

V8's CS:GO squad were in the process of rebuilding as Tyler "adviko" Ingram and William "rin" McGraw left the team following internal issues within the team. 

With those changes, the ex-V8 team now consists of:

  • United States Andrew "VulcaN" Dominguez
  • United States Brandon "envy" Tovmassian
  • United States "btr"
  • United States "VEIN" (Coach)

The team is looking for two new players and will compete in the upcoming season of ESEA Advanced.
