AVGL announce April Anarchy

Following a month of competition, one team will win travel and VIP tickets to DreamHack Masters Dallas.

AVGL have announced April Anarchy, a series of offline tournament and online qualifiers that at the end of the month will award one team with a set of VIP tickets to DreamHack Masters Dallas. 

In their announcement post, AVGL outlined two ways teams can qualify for the final bracket. First, AVGL's collegiate partners will be hosting the following events, with each event offering one spot to the finals bracket:

  • University of Akron Zips Invitational - April 5th-7th
  • UC San Diego Triton CS Blackwatch LANding - April 6th
  • Indiana University Bloomington LAN Wars - April 6th-7th
  • UC Santa Cruz Slug Gaming Expo - April 14th 
  • UNC Charlotte LAN Party - April 14th
  • Iowa State University Open LAN - April 20th
  • Colorado State University LAN - April 27th 
  • TBD

Additionally, for teams that cannot attend any of the offline events, AVGL will be hosting an online qualifer that will offer eight spots in the final bracket, that is set to begin on April 27th. 

Following this the 16 remaining teams will face off in a bracket to determine which teams wins the VIP tickets, backstage tour, and travel support.
