ELEAGUE has been one of the most successful organizers in Counter-Strike

burbunny bounces from ELEAGUE

The Vice President of Esports at Turner has exited the company.

Christina "burbunny" Alejandre has left ELEAGUE and Turner Sports, the former General Manager announced on Twitter. Under the ELEAGUE banner, burbunny oversaw five Counter-Strike events, two of which were Majors.

burbunny thanked her coworkers and fans, and said that she is looking forward to her next endeavor. It's currently unkown whether or not her departure will affect the future plans of ELEAGUE or Turner.

ELEAGUE began their involvement in the esports scene with their Season 1 tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in May of 2016, and after the huge success of putting esports on television, Valve awarded the organizer with two Majors.

ELEAGUE will be hosting the second edition of the ELEAGUE Premier in July, and will feature eight teams. The prize pool and qualification method are currently unknown, but will be revealed as the weeks pass.

As a way to remember burbunny's involvement with ELEAGUE, make sure to read her interview from October last year where she touched on many topics surrounding the Major and other EL events.
