Is Rambo making a return to North America?

IEM Katowice Qualifier #2 registrations fuel roster speculation; witmer out of GX

As the next season of Pro League approaches, rosters are solidifying.

With the return of ESEA's tournament platform, it is now once again possible to see the teams and compositions that have registered for their qualifiers. Dust2.us took a browse and has found some interesting nuggets:

GX

Starting off with news that we can confirm, GX's registration for the qualifier shows the presence of Ricky "floppy" Kemery instead of Shawn "witmer" Taylor. When reached for comment, witmer confirmed that he will not be playing the upcoming season with GX, and will be "taking time to reset". floppy's presence on the team's ESEA page indicates that he would be the frontrunner to be their new fifth.

compLexity

compLexity played the first qualifier without Alec "Slemmy" White, who has now been removed from the team's ESEA roster. The presence of former CLG members Pujan "FNS" Mehta and Stephen "reltuC" Cutler surely raises eyebrows about whether there may be even more changes in the compLexity camp.

Even more interesting is the presence of a certain Ron "Rambo" Kim. The famed 3D member has been in Korea coaching several MVP squads, but it seems that is no longer the case...

Ghost

Less in the surprise camp, Ghost are signed up for this qualifier with the same roster as the previous one (with the exception of floppy). With both Yassine "Subroza" Taofik and Tramaine "stan1ey" Stanley joining the team's ESEA roster, it certainly seems like they may have found their five for the upcoming season.

Rogue

Rogue made waves ahead of the last qualifier with the signings of Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki and Hunter "SicK" Mims. Now, Jared "osorandom" Hartman makes an appearance on their registration for the second qualifier. Dust2.us knows that the team have been scrimming using the current Rise Nation coach, but what this means regarding the status of Garett "Grt" Bambrough is currently unknown.

The second IEM Katowice qualifier will begin today, and the winner of the bracket will earn a berth in the Closed Qualifier. Splyce have already won the first spot under somewhat dubious circumstances.

This post will be updated if other interesting rosters come to light.

Witmer just moved in together with his longtime girlfriend so I don't know if the roster swap is permanent or not but they didn't kick him for performance, he asked to leave for a while.
