ex-GGPR have been signed by Eros, completing their search for a new home after parting ways with GGPR on October 10th. Additionally, they have competed their roster for ESEA Premier Season 39 with the addition of Adam "freshie" Paterson while Josh "sava9e" Lundquist and Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison have been brought on as substitutes.

ex-GGPR begin rebuild with shutout and omniscient

This roster move marks freshie's return to league play after being largely inactive since playing ESEA Premier Season 37 Relegation with X13. In Season 37, X13's failure to claim a spot in Premier through relegation came as something of a surprise as that lineup was the division's number one seed heading into playoffs. Since that team crumbled in relegation, he has played a handful of maps in Advanced and a few events with Brazen but has otherwise taken a step back from competition.

The team's two substitutes both have Premier experience, with sava9e playing with Coldest Riders last season, while Inseaniac has played five seasons in the division. Their addition seems to a lesson learned for this lineup as GGPR struggled last season due to not registering an adequate number of subs.

Eros' expansive lineup consists of:

  • ca Brody "BeaKie" Kelly
  • us John "JTMythic" Timmermann
  • us Cory "shutout" Frymark
  • us Kevin "omniscient" Ma
  • ca Adam "freshie" Paterson
  • us Josh "sava9e" Lundquist (Substitute)
  • ca Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison (Substitute)
  • us Aurele "quick" Hebert (Coach)
  • us Erich "ninja" Beyer (Assistant Coach/Analyst)

Eros will play in ESEA Premier Season 39 when it kicks off next week on November 2nd.

Im surprised you guys didn't include the fact that Freshie won Advanced in the past, thats a big achievement in my book. Excited for the season, no more backup issues :)
