Eclipse part ways with brett

The former Warriors International member is no longer a part of Eclipse after just over a month with the team.

Eclipse have removed Brett "brett" Rhein from their roster, with the player informing Dust2.us that he was unexpectedly cut from the team on Tuesday morning.

brett explained to Dust2.us that after the team were dealt their first few losses of the ESEA MDL season, they stopped practicing and caring as much about their results in the league. This did not align with brett's goal of making playoffs in the current season, with the roster and brett agreeing that he was not a good fit for the lineup given their current situation.

In his short time as a part of Eclipse, brett has averaged a 0.90 rating over five maps, a slight fall off from his time under Warriors International, where he averaged a 0.95 rating. brett acknowledged his dip in form, stating that he hadn't been playing as well as he knew he could, but that he was still hopeful for the rest of the season.

Eclipse are now:

  • United States Damian "droid" Boulware
  • United States Matthew "nero" Seymour
  • United States Nick "zeptic" Kaoud
  • United States Nolan "bite" Hunstad

Eclipse currently reside in twelfth place in the MDL standings with a 3-5 record, and will have limited time to find a replacement for brett as rosters are set to lock in just under two weeks, on October 18th.
