AZR and jks will don a new jersey for the first time in over four years

100 Thieves sign Renegades roster

After a strong 2019, the Oceanic roster has left their long-time home.

Renegades announced the departure of their top ten ranked CS:GO team earlier today, stating that the team has been acquired by North American organization 100 Thieves. The announcement comes after speculation that the majority Oceanic roster would be departing from their old home once their contracts expired.

Renegades entered CS:GO in 2015 when they signed the former Vox lineup, featuring Aaron "AZR" Ward and Justin "jks" Savage. Through the years, the team enjoyed great success at Asia Minors, and most recently finished 3rd-4th at the StarLadder Berlin Major.

100 Thieves have yet to field a Counter-Strike roster in competitive play, as their signing of the Brazilian Não Tem Como squad did not pay dividends following the removal of Vito "kNg" Giuseppe due to inappropriate comments on Twitter.

The now 100 Thieves roster is currently ranked seventh in the world and consists of the following players:

  • Australia Aaron "AZR" Ward
  • Australia Justin "jks" Savage
  •  Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
  • Australia Jay "liazz" Tregillgas
  • New Zealand Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai
  •  Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović (Coach)

The debut event for 100 Thieves' new roster will be IEM Beijing 2019, which will commence on November 7-10.
