Gaming Science win TGS Open Series October

The team conquered established ESEA Advanced and Intermediate names for their $500 grand prize.

The one-day TGS Open Series event came to a close last night with Gaming Science overtaking Wasted Talent in the grand finals following a flawless group stage performance.

Gaming Science met resistance against team ~~~~~, consisting of TGS' core of Justin "Jerk" Milani, Hudson "rev" McManus, and Armel "leak" Araneta, in the semifinals, where they were able to close out the series 2-1 with a convincing 16-6 third map win.

On the other side of the bracket, Wasted Talent had to battle through three overtimes over the course of their semifinal bout to edge out mahone's team for a place in the finals.

The grand finals saw the first map going 16-4 in Gaming Science's favor, with Wasted Talent managing to reply with a narrow 16-14 victory on map two to force a decider. Gaming Science were swift to bounce back from their map two defeat as they secured a 16-9 win on map three and take first place.
