gMd and Katie set to captain MDL Season 31 All-Star Game
After five days of community voting, a tentative list of the ten players who will participate in the MDL Season 31 All-Star Game has been determined. As with previous versions of the showmatch, the players who receive the most votes are elected captains, however Dust2.us has been informed that Tyson "TenZ" Ngo will not be participating, and as such Anthony "gMd" Guimond and Kaitlin "Katie" Boop will helm the two squads. This also means that Ian "motm" Hardy gets a shot at the game.

Unlike last season, where half the players were Brazilian, not a single Brazilian made top ten, with eight out of the top ten players this year being American.
Unfortunately, the all-star game may see another player change as Katie will potentially miss the event due to her father shutting off her internet. If Katie is unable to play, Fadey would be the next in line for a captainship, while Brendan "Bwills" Williams would be offered the additional vacancy.
The MDL Season 31 All-Star Game is scheduled to play out tomorrow at 9 PM EDT. gMd and hopefully Katie will take turns picking players for their lineup and a map apiece, with a community vote deciding which map the two teams will clash on should there be need for a decider.
The action will be streamed on ESEA's Twitch Channel and as with previous seasons, the winning team will take home $1,000 per player while the losers are left with $250 apiece.
