After their 1-2 loss to Singularity during the Fragadelphia Online event, Colton "BASE" Musella announced on Twitter that he has been cut from Polar Ace.

Dust2.us has learned that BASE was kicked from Polar Ace due to certain players within the team believing that "unresolved issues" were preventing the squad from reaching their maximum potential. This move will be a large shift for the team as BASE was the team's in-game leader and second highest rated player during their Season 30 campaign.

BASE had been a member of the Polar Ace core after he joined Hysteria before the start of Season 29 in September 2018. Additionally, BASE was been a frequent LAN teammate of Michael "agM" Abood, winning numerous NCS events with various formations of players.

This leaves Polar Ace with the following roster:

  • us Daniel "picky" Milazzo
  • ca Jonah "JonahP" Pulice
  • us William "shonk" Kittrell
  • us Michael "agM" Abood
  • ca Wellis "welly" Dean (Coach)

Although the team does not currently have any MDL matches currently scheduled for next week, they are currently scheduled to play CLG Red in the WINNERS League on May 8th, giving the team less than 5 days to find a new fifth.

Any team interested in reaching out to BASE can do so through his Twitter.
