FPL Recap - oBo gets back-to-back wins; J0LZ and C0M to FPL

The young FPL star has placed first in three of the last five weeks.

The final week of FPL for April has come to an end, seeing 15-year-old Owen "oBo" Schlatter top the board for the second week running. An early nine-game winstreak allowed for oBo to initially pull far ahead, seeing him eventually end the week with a fifty point lead over his closest competiton in Maxim "wippie" Shepelev.

Aside from oBo, just one other member from last week's top ten returns, with Duncan "raz" Lee slipping from a second place finish to tenth. Fellow FPL-C promotee Kaitlin "Katie" Boop, who ended last week in third, ended the last week of April just one spot below raz at eleventh. 

Also of note is a three-way points tie between Matthew "no_one" Congdon, Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue, and Michael "dapr" Gulino, with no_one pulling ahead with more overall matches played.

A number of other players from the previous top 20 return, including Ricardo "boltz" Prass, Skyler "Relyks" Weaver, and Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, the last of whom placed in ninth by winning eight of the ten games he played. Will "dazzLe" Loafman played just one match more than Stewie2K, although a better overall record having won ten out of his eleven matches allowed for dazzLe to earn himself a spot in the top three.

Both David "J0LZ" Jolin and Corbin "C0M" Lee made multiple appearances at the top of the weekly leaderboards for May, so their overall placings are no surprise. Also of note is the triumphant return of Nathan "leaf" Orf to the ladder.

Joshua "Hunter" Madore took home the top spot in FPL-C to round out the month, while no one from last week's top five makes a return. Benita "bENITA" Novshadian and Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley also tied in points, although the latter player came out ahead in the standings by finishing the week with an eight-game winstreak.
