NRG are back in ECS action, presumably looking to remain sharp between IEM Sydney and cs_summit 4

ECS Season 7 Week 4 bracket released

The penultimate week of the season has had the first set of matches scheduled.

FACEIT have announced the schedule for the first round of matches in the fourth week of ECS Season 7. The third week saw FURIA take the final direct qualification spot at the Finals, in a 2-1 over INTZ.

Curiously NRG, who have already qualified for the ECS Finals in June, are slated to compete. MIBR will be making their Season 7 debut, and Liquid will be returning having been absent after their opening round loss to Rogue in week one. Cloud9, eUnited and Spacestation are all set to make appearances after attending in previous weeks.

With the tournament moving into the final two weeks of competition, there are no more direct qualification spots to the ECS Finals. The final place for North America will be handed to the highest earning team not already qualified for the competition, meaning all teams have a shot in the final two weeks.

So far, compLexity, NRG and FURIA are confirmed as North American representatives at the ECS Finals, with Vitality, North and Astralis set to represent Europe in June.

The schedule for week four, with times in EDT, is as follows:

Monday, May 13th
United States Singularity vs. Brazil MIBR 6 PM
United States NRG vs. United States eUnited 6 PM
United States Cloud9 vs. Brazil Luminosity 9 PM
United States Liquid vs. United States Spacestation 9 PM

Along with the new bracket, FACEIT had previously announced that the tournament will commence using Vertigo over Cache starting with Week 4.
