Trio of teams make changes ahead of ESEA Season 31

The Fundamentals fall apart while Variance and Las Vegas MiniGunners change up their rosters.

A trio of ESEA Advanced and MDL teams have made changes following the conclusion of Season 30.

Variance have parted ways with Rahmin "ShoukR" Shoukoohi while moving George "Powerzz" Yaede to a backup position. To fill the gap, Variance have recruited Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak, who spent the past season playing for Holo in Advanced. Having secured promotion to MDL through Relegation, the team now awaits the start of Season 31 on April 22nd.

Variance now have the following roster:

  • United States Bilal "SPAMMER" Ali
  • United States Ezekiel "KmZ" Hughes
  • Canada Stoyno "neska" Atanasov
  • Canada Justin "FaNg" Coakley
  • United States Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak
  • Canada Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan (Coach)
  • Canada Keith "Seaside" LaFortune (Analyst)
  • United States George "Powerzz" Yaede (Backup)

Following his departure from Variance, ShoukR has found a new home as a part of Las Vegas MiniGunners, linking up with Quintin "dolphy" Madsen to complete the team's roster. The duo replace Chris "Duck" Dutoit and Brandon "Proximal" Nguyen, the former of whom has already found a new home on The Alizarin Crimsons while the latter has posted a recruitment ad on ESEA.

Las Vegas MiniGunners now consists of:

  • United States "ckk"
  • United States John "Magic1an" Girone
  • United States Justin "Panderzz" Kim
  • United States Quintin "dolphy" Madsen
  • United States Rahmin "ShoukR" Shoukoohi

After falling in MDL Season 30 Relegation and being demoted to Advanced, recent MDL All-Star Nolan "Temperature" Pepper has parted ways with The Fundamentals after almost one year with the team. A turbulent time for the roster saw a number of player changes over the course of the year, leading to them lasting just a single season in MDL. Temperature tweeted that he is now searching for a team, and has posted an ESEA recruitment ad with the intention of joining a team in MDL.

Following Temperature's departure, Ramal "Rampage" Silva, Cameron "Skelly" Thomson, and Michael "orbit" Faulkner have also all left the team's ESEA roster, leaving them with:

  • United States Jake "Decko" Muse
  • Canada Abdo "c4lypso" Agha

ESEA Advanced and MDL Season 31 are set to commence on April 22nd.

Update: An earlier version of this article listed Keith "Seaside" LaFortune as Variance's coach. However, Huthaifa "blitzz" Khan has been acting as the team's coach since March 3rd. We apologize for any confusion.
