After nine months of inactivity, montE returns to the MDL

A trio of [French] Canadians return to the MDL

Subroza and PLAYER1 have joined Old Guys Club, and montE has returned to activity on Final Feature.

Final Feature have enlisted the services of Neil "montE" Montgomery as the team's new in-game leader following the departure of Damian "droid" Boulware last week.

This will be montE's first team following his departure from Freedom 35 back in May of 2018 after being replaced in favor of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo. With montE at the helm, Final Feature will look to improve on their 3-5 start to the season. However, during his opening match with the team, montE struggled to find frags, only managing two kills in the team's 16-2 loss to Bad News Bears.

On the other side of the equation, droid has also found a new home, linking up with the Advanced team InControl. He will be replacing Quintin "dolphy" Madsen who will be stepping into a coaching role due to poor ping.

The two teams now have the following rosters:

Final Feature InControl
  • United States Daniel "picky" Milazzo
  • Canada Jonah "JonahP" Pulice
  • United States William "shonk" Kittrell
  • United States Colton "BASE" Musella
  • Canada Neil "montE" Montgomery
  • Canada Wellis "weLLy" Dean (Coach)
  • United States Tony "w0w" Zachary
  • United States Anthony "agony" Masterton
  • United States Nolan "bite" Hunstad
  • United States Tommy "Axed" Ryan
  • United States Damian "droid" Boulware

Last night, Old Guys Club also revealed a new duo of players. With Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Sean "seang@res" Gares out of town at the IEM Katowice Major, Old Guys Club have secured the services of Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Keven "PLAYER1" Champagne for the time being.

Subroza was recently spotted playing with eUnited during the IEM Sydney Qualifiers before the team decided to acquire the Swole Patrol trio. On the other hand, this will  be PLAYER1's first outing following his departure from Grizzlys to finish his studies during Season 27.

During the player's debut match against Luminosity, Subroza and PLAYER1 both managed positive ratings, however the team narrowly fell to the Brazilian side in a 22-20 loss.

With the additions of these two players, Old Guys Club now boasts a massive roster consisting of eight players and one coach. Dust2.us has learned that the team plans to use an assortment of these players as their availability shifts.

As such, Old Guys Club massive roster is now:

Dust2 Birthday cake!
montE is one of steel’s friends that he played with back in Torqued, right? Maybe he has picked up a thing or two from him.
