The 100-year ban is no more

arKimonday dodges full-length ESEA ban, gets off with two years

After originally being served with a 100-year ban on ESEA, the player has been given a second chance.

Jack "arKimonday" Kastner has been unbanned from ESEA after serving out a two-year ban, Mark "Boq" Wilson revealed in a tweet Monday morning. The player was previously dealt a 100-year ban by the platform after he LAN-dodged ESEA MDL Season 23 Global Challenge just prior to the start of the event, forcing Muffin Lightning to field CLG Red's Diane "di^" Tran in his stead.

The 29-year old is now once again eligible to play on the platform, and with the ESEA league fee deadline looming at the end of the day, has just a few hours if he wishes to join a team before the start of the season.

Most recently, Zack "XotiC" Elshani failed to attend both ESEA MDL Season 29 Global Challenge and the MDL Season 29 grand finals with cantwinalan. Without XotiC, cantwinalan were unable to prevail over Swole Patrol in the grand finals, losing out on the chance to qualify for a slot in ESL Pro League as their run through EPL Relegation also proved unsuccessful with Ryan "GRAMPZ" Baber in tow.

no. he was full on scum but he gave an heads up for dodging.

arki dodged the event without telling people he was gonna dodge it. so they didnt know he dodged until the last second. so it was also shady but his ban was given due to esea already making accomodations etc and putting the tournament itself in a bad spot.
