The in-game leader looks to finesse his way into another team

FNS announces free agency

Will the chessmaster find a new home?

Pujan "FNS" Mehta has announced on social media that he is now a free agent. The Canadian player, formerly of CLG and compLexity, has been on Cloud9's bench for the past two months following disappointing placements at major tournaments with Cloud9.

In his statement on Twitter, FNS considers his time on Cloud9 a failure, but vows to continue competing.

FNS was first signed by compLexity after the disbandment of CLG. Cloud9, another team that was in need of an in-game-leader following Jake "Stewie2K" Yip's departure, subsequently acquired him from compLexity. Following disappointing LAN finishes, FNS was benched from Cloud9 in late May.

Cloud9's full roster is now:

  • United States Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • United States Will "RUSH" Wierzba
  • United States Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
  • United States Soham "valens" Chowdhury (Coach)

While FNS has been on the bench, Cloud9 have turned to Martin "STYKO" Styk and Maikil "Golden" Selim as temporary stand-ins to complete their roster. Cloud9's plans for permanently rounding out its roster are still unknown.
