FPL Recap - You would not believe which player topped the tables this week!

Shocker as MarkE takes that top prize home yet again.

The fifth week of the FACEIT Pro League has concluded, and yet again no-one has been able to knock the Mexcian off his perch. Yet again, Edgar "MarkE" Jimenez has picked up the $1,500 first place prize after collecting 1,732 points in games.

The top 20 players from the previous week are:

The past week saw only a few remain in the top 20, with various names of previous weeks and new names turning up. A sizable Brazilian contingent, made up of members of Luminosity and oNe, had an impact in the table as they prepare for upcoming competition all over the region. Recently promoted Victor "food" Wong secured his first cash placing, sitting in 6th place just behind a Jake "Stewie2K" Yip who had recently returned to the division's top spots. The full table is available on FACEIT's website.

FPL-C is still going along, with it's new crop of members. Only two members remain in the top five spots from last week, these are:

Rank Name Points Prize
1. United States Blake "Strings" Stringer 1,324 FPL
2. United States Owen "oBo" Schlatter 1,254 $750
3. United States David "Sneaky" Polster 1,206 $500
4. Canada Randy "Smiley-" Sandoval 1,180 $250
5. United States "Cxzi" 1,172 $250

Owen "oBo" Schlatter and David "Sneaky" Polster remain, but are knocked down by currently teamless Blake "Strings" Stringer. Slightly down the pack sees the remaining new faces with Randy "Smiley" Sandoval and "Cxzi" take their spots. Strings is starting to take a narrow lead ahead of his opposition, but it's still extremely close towards the bottom of the prize-giving places. The full table can be found here.

Fancy your chances against the pros and to try for a spot into FPL-C? Then head on over to the Dust2.us Western Pro League to take your shot into the big time.
