The Boston Major that is currently in-progress is the second CS:GO major IMG and Turner have claimed as their own.

ELEAGUE partner with Twitch as their exclusive streaming platform

As other leagues team up with new platforms to broaden their reach, ELEAGUE stays the course with Twitch.

It was revealed yesterday by Dustin Steiner of unikrn.com that ELEAGUE and Twitch have closed a multi-year exclusivity deal for all streaming rights to their content and leagues, including the ongoing Boston Major for CS:GO. IMG and Turner will still maintain their televised broadcast and proprietary Command Center platform concurrently.

While Twitch still holds the dominant position as the leading stream platform for gaming and esports, many other leagues such as ECS and ESL have branched out to expand their market visibility by switching to other platforms, first YouTube, and now Facebook.

Craig Barry, Executive VP of Production at Turner Sports had this to say about their new partnership:

ELEAGUE and Twitch have formed an incredible partnership that has allowed ELEAGUE’s premium live event coverage to reach a highly engaged, digitally-native community of passionate fans.

ELEAGUE hasn't made any announcements regarding their 2018 schedule, but previous titles they've hosted in addition to CS:GO include Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, and Rocket League.

The playoffs of ELEAGUE Major Boston kick off tomorrow. Dust2.us will be live on-site with coverage and interviews, so stay tuned!
