A bit of a more difficult time in Round 2

Imperial dumped into 1-1 pool

A quick result puts Imperial in the middle of the pack.

Imperial had a tough final match of the day, falling 13-2 to Spirit on Mirage. The Brazilian squad is the only one to have registered a win this Thursday, as both FURIA and paiN fell even further into the 0-2 pool.

Following the day's conclusion, the Americas has a grim outlook, as all three Brazilian squads will need to pick up the pieces and figure out what went wrong.

In all likelihood, this was probably just the wrong map. Spirit came out swinging on their CT-side. The Russian squad held the Brazilians to just two rounds throughout the entire half as they cruised to a 10-2 lead.

Imperial tried to make things work on their own CT-side, but Spirit was not having it as they crushed the Brazilians and secured a 13-2 map win to go 2-0 on the day.

Imperial will look to fight another day, but will have to play against Vitality in an even more daunting 1-1 best-of-one match.
