06:11PM - LIQUID WIN AND STAY ALIVE!

It was an absolute all-out brawl between Liquid and BESTIA, with the Argentinians showing they could fight til the very end. It required a few clutches out of either side to keep it close, and North American fans are likely looking for their heart medication.

05:58PM - Liquid finally pulling away!

It took a bit, but Liquid finally look like they are firmly in the driver's seat of this game. Some back and forths kept this game close, but NAF came up insanely clutch with a 3k pistol round to secure a 9th round and give the squad a solid economy backing.

05:43PM - All square after the first half

Liquid really came out of the gate dominating, but a few missteps and some BESTIA clutches have made it an even score. Liquid will desperately want to win this match as a loss would put them down into the elimination matches.

05:22PM - Welp, that wasn't great for NRG

Defeated on Overpass, NRG are now in the 0-1 elimination bracket which is crushing for the team. They will have their shot tomorrow. Meanwhile, Liquid are being clinical in their path towards victory.

05:10PM - Liquid is sitting down, but NRG are not getting up from the floor

Liquid are going to be our last match of the day and they'll get kicking off soon. As for NRG, they continue to struggle right now as they're down 8-1 on their T-side. It's not insurmountable, but it's also not good.

04:50PM - Kicking this off, NRG are here at the RMR!

The final round of matches have begun, with NRG starting before Liquid. It's an Overpass game for the Canadians, who are hoping to make a statement after getting a last chance at the RMR. Can they pull off an upset?

04:32PM - Wildcard can't get things going on T-side; too late for comeback

Brazil wins versus NA for the second time today. After FURIA took down Nouns, RED Canids dismantled Wildcard with a 13-1 Nuke, as 11 of those rounds came in the Brazilians' CT-side. Down to the 0-1 bracket for Wildcard.

04:12PM - BOSS stun MIBR; Wildcard 0-5 down on Vertigo

BOSS have done it! They have won their first match against MIBR, going up 1-0 in the Americas RMR! Lots of screams could be heard across the booths as they beat the Brazilians 13-9. Wildcard, on the other hand, are down early against RED Canids 0-5 on the T-side of Vertigo.

03:47PM - M80 defeat ODDIK to go up 1-0; BOSS going into CT-side with 7-5 lead

M80 have advanced to the 1-0 bracket after a win over ODDIK. Despite going to halftime 7-5 behind, the North American sqaud were able to stop ODDIK's offense and win Ancient 13-10. Meanwhile, BOSS has done a lot of damage to MIBR's CT-side on Ancient and have reached the half with a 7-5 lead.

03:24PM - M80 trail 5-7 at the half; BOSS v. MIBR is getting started

With Rory "dephh" Jackson calling a solid T-side on Ancient, M80 have reached halftime only trailing by two rounds, after losing the pistol round to open the map against ODDIK. The match between BOSS and MIBR is just getting started now, also on Ancient, with BOSS starting on the T-side.

03:05PM - FURIA stave off Nouns!

Well, it was an incredible effort but somehow FURIA have been able to slip by Nouns. MarKE had the opportunity to clutch and bring it closer, but somehow his flash didn't connect enough and he was stopped from defusing almost at the line.

FURIA and Complexity are now 1-0 on the day!

02:55PM - No way this is a comeback, right?

No chance, right? 11-7 as FURIA fail to find an effective T-side. Can Nouns truly start a comeback? Is NA CS back?

02:37PM - Complexity clean up Elevate

No upsets for Elevate as Complexity easily clean up against the Dea-less squad. A few hiccups, but nothing that the best American squad won't be able to iron out for tomorrow in their 1-0 match. A solid 13-6 win sees both team's IGLs topfragging. It was a decent showing for Elevate on their first big event against the best team in the region while playing with a sub. Maybe they can turn it around later.

Elsewhere, FURIA is already way up 10-2 at the half and looking to close out the match on their T-side.

02:27PM - Complexity leads at the half!

Complexity looked a bit shaky to start out their T-side, but they've made sure to establish that they are the better team. Elsewhere in the FURIA and Nouns match, it's paused once again due to some tech issues. What is a Major LAN without some sort of issues?

02:09PM - Two tech pauses already

FURIA, Nouns, Complexity, and Elevate already appear to have some tech issues as the two games were stopped for a bit as admins assessed the situation. floppy was entirely paused for one round, however Complexity were able to get the round win.

Current scores are FURIA 5-0 Nouns & Complexity 1-2 Elevate.

01:30PM - It's go time!

Long have we awaited, the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR is finally here today! It has been 327 days since the last RMR was held in Monterrey, Mexico and that was for the 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major. That would end up being the only Major held in 2023 as Counter-Strike switched from Global Offensive to it's aptly named successor, "2".

Today, North American fans will be getting behind eight of their favorite teams as they compete against eight South American teams for only five slots at the Major in Copenhagen later this month. Complexity and Liquid are heavy favorites to qualify while Wildcard, M80, and Nouns are definitely considered to be in the hunt. From South America, there are few teams that should not be counted out. FURIA, Imperial, and MIBR are considered some of the best teams in the region and will certainly give a good fight to get that precious sticker money.

Matches will officially start today at 02:00PM with FURIA battling against Nouns and Complexity looking to take down a weakened Elevate.
