Mexican organization acquires new Brazilian roster

The organization was present during the North American Open Qualifiers.

Albeit an unknown organization at the time, E-Xolos LAZER came to the attention of North American CS fans when the team signed up for the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR Open Qualifier #1 with a Brazilian roster.

Since then, the organization has almost completely revamped its roster, as Matheus "mawth" Gonçalves is the only member of the previous squad staying with the team.

Alef "tatazin" Pereira, Paulo "land1n" Felipe, Renan "RenanZin" Henrique, and William "w1" Almasan are the new additions and, according to Dust2 Brasil, they were close to signing with Vikings. However, the organization ultimately decided not to go with the players, despite paying them since November.

With the arrival of the four former SOJOGA players, Enzo "xns" Henrique, Ruann "keiz" Rotondano, Samuel "voltera" Rodrigues, and Ezequiel "KUN" Palmero are on their way out. It's still unknown if Esteban "samp4s" Sampayo is staying as the team's coach.

The squad changes have proved fruitful so far, as E-Xolos LAZER is still alive in the ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 North American Open Qualifier, having beaten Bloons Tower Defense 6 and their fellow countrymen LOS. E-Xolos LAZER hope to stay alive in the event as they face Mythic today at 06:00PM.

E-Xolos LAZER are:

  • Brazil Matheus "mawth" Gonçalves

  • Brazil Alef "tatazin" Pereira

  • Brazil Paulo "land1n" Felipe

  • Brazil Renan "RenanZin" Henrique

  • Brazil William "w1" Almasan

It would be nice to see Mexican orgs supporting local talent, but as long as they keep this squad in NA I won't complain I guess.
