Swisher is in a good mood

Watch: M80's best plays against Rooster

Get ready for today's matchup by re-living M80's top plays from yesterday.

M80 are one step away from making it to the IEM Katowice 2024 Group Stage for the first time as a team, first time as an organization, and first time ever. For players like Michael "Swisher" Schmid, this is match will be one of the more important matches as he hopes to finally make it to one of the biggest events in Counter-Strike.

M80 is already down one player as Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen needed to focus on his mental health, but Rory "dephh" Jackson has stepped up and is able to give the squad what they need to make it to the next stage. You can watch some of the team's best plays ahead of their final game today against Rebels.

#4: slaxz-'s Eco-round ACE

Already up 10-3, M80 needed to put this game to bed if they wanted to ensure they would live to see another day. With the squad coming off a huge pistol victory, it was Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich to cook the Rooster squad with a clean, MP9 ace.

#3: slaxz-'s quick 3k down banana

slaxz- is so quick with the AWP that Rooster couldn't even hit him for a single point of damage as the German takes down three on Banana to re-take control over that side of Inferno.

#2: dephh with the huge round-saving 4k

He's just a coach, a manager! He's a former VALORANT player and he's cleaning up bombsites to make sure that M80 continued their momentum to start off the game.

#1: slaxz- closes out the 2-0

Literally the best player from M80 so far at Katowice, slaxz- was put into a tough 1v2 position trying to retake the A-site on Vertigo with just an AWP. He is able to isolate the fight, tap the bomb, lure out his opponent, convert the kill, and somehow have enough time to hit the defuse and give M80 their first win at the event.

M80 are set to play Rebels after the Virtus.pro v. Cloud9 game at approximately 01:30PM.
