madss' time with FlyQuest RED has come to an end

FlyQuest RED part ways with two players

The org have made their first player change since signing the team.

Just hours before the start of the first PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR North American Open Qualifier, FlyQuest RED have announced the departure of Kelsie "uhKelsie" Click and Marissa "madss" Dasta from the lineup. The change FlyQuest's first changes to the roster after signing it in June 2023, and sees uhKelsie and madss leave the lineup after both spending more than a year under Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie.

The change to FlyQuest RED's roster comes after a disappointing showing for the team at the ESL Impact League Season 4 where the team were dispatched following losses to Fluxo Demons and HSG, with the team finishing in joint last place with Shimmer. While FlyQuest have not announced replacements for the duo, they are signed up with a new duo for tonight's qualifier. The team are set to field former Evil Geniuses Gold player Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon and, somewhat surprisingly, Emma "Emy" Choe a former CLG Red player who has not played Counter-Strike since 2022 when she left for the VALORANT Game Changers scene.

FlyQuest RED are set to field the following lineup tonight:

  • Canada Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie

  • Australia Vivienne "BiBiAhn" Quach

  • Coline "Kaoday" Le Floc'h

  • United States Vanessa "vanessa" Gideon (Stand-in)

  • United States Emma "Emy" Choe (Stand-in)

  • Luca "Munstur" Ioanitiu (Coach)

madss has announced on Twitter that she is now looking for a team in both NA and EU, and that it was a sudden change. uhKelsie has not made any public announcement at the time of publication. madss is also set to play as a stand-in for Wanted Goons in tonight's qualifier, however that is a short-term commitment.
