Unjustified part ways with starlet

Now Unjustified will need two players heading into 2024.

Unjustified have announced they have parted ways with another member of their starting lineup as they look to retain their core and re-tool ahead of an impressive season in ESL Challenger League. Unjustified's decision to party ways with McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison is interesting as the team finished 3rd in the regular season of ECL and placed in the Top 6 in playoffs.

Unjustified started Counter-Strike 2 as one of the most surprising teams as they beat everyone's expectations as they were one of the worst performing teams in Season 45 of ESL Challenger League towards making playoffs in Season 46.

Cyrix was one of the better performers for Unjustified throughout the season, posting a 1.07 HLTV Rating, tied for second-best on the team alongside Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield.

In a statement to Dust2.us, Cyrix said, "I wish things could have turned out differently and I could have continued playing. But I wish those guys the best regardless, really good players and really good people."

Unjustified must now find two players before the end of the year as they gear up to the play in the 2024 PGL Copenhagen Americas RMR North American Closed Qualifier. The organization have been invited to skip the open qualifier after being one of the top ranked teams in North America, per the Valve rankings.

Unjustified is now:

  • United States Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich

  • United States Mason "Lake" Sanderson

  • United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
