Misfits will play SK tomorrow

Misfits to EPL semis over HellRaisers

The North American team took down HellRaisers on two maps.

The first round of Misfits' pick of Cobblestone went the way of HellRaisers. Misfits answered right back however with one of their own, and converted that round into three more, jumping out to a 4-1 lead. Issa "ISSAA" Murad led HR to a force-buy win and the Europeans avoided a reset by winning round seven. ISSAA continued on his rampage, with HellRaisers securing six CT rounds, until Misfits finally took one back.

Despite some plays by Kristjan "FejtZ" Allsaar, Misfits managed to keep the score close. The American/French side finished out the half with a five-round win streak to end with a 9-6 lead.

Misfits won the second half's pistol round, which then led to two more rounds, putting the North American squad at 12 total. ISSAA fought back and after a few traded rounds, helped HellRaisers to regain a footing in the second half. HellRaisers began to mount a large comeback, and with Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow at the helm, HR managed a scoreline of 12-13. In what seemed like the last round, ISSAA pulled off a huge triple kill which kept HellRaisers stay alive.

The game came down to the 30th round, wherein the newest addition FejtZ pulled off the triple and 1v1 clutch to take the game into overtime.

The first round in overtime featured a huge quadruple kill defense by David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic and Misfits then completed the sweep for a 18-15 lead. ANGE1 kept his team in the game, as his own multi-kill in the first round of the second half of overtime combined with a triple by FejtZ in the following round led to double overtime.

Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan, who had been quiet for most of the game, kicked off the second overtime with a massive quad kill with the AWP. devoduvek also chimed in with his own three frags and Misfits ended up with another 3-0 sweep for a 21-18 score. Not to repeat their mistakes of the first overtime, the North American team then closed out Cobblestone 22-18.

Overpass started off with an early Misfits lead as Hunter "SicK" Mims picked up four kills early on. HR took round three, and ISSAA picked up three kills in round four, but Misfits immediately reset the European squad. ShahZaM powered the American team to four rounds, but FejtZ and HellRaisers answered back with three to tie it up. Eventually, Misfits pulled away, and thanks to François "AmaNEk" Delaunay they gained a solid lead.

HellRaisers couldn't get anything together until the final round of the half, which they won to make the score 5-10 going in to the side switch.

Misfits didn't let up as SicK, ShahZaM, and devoduvek powered the NA lineup to a 13-5 score. HellRaisers could only win a single round before being reset again, and Misfits easily secured 15 rounds off of a clean SicK triple. HR had no more fight left, as Misfits rolled over ANGE1's men to win Overpass 16-6 and take the series 2-0.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Nice to see Sean leading a team to a place like this, I haven't seen it in a very long time.

It's also awesome to see people performing well like ShaZaM, especially since he isn't always consistent.

Curious as to how they will do against their next opponents :D
