Gambit and EnVyUs to playoffs in Jönköping
Day one of DreamHack Winter has concluded with two teams advancing to the playoffs to take place on Sunday. Gambit placed first in Group A after a convincing win against Rise Nation followed by quintuple overtime marathon against Natus Vincere which saw them come back from a 13-5 deficit to win Inferno. With Abay "HObbit" Khasenov at the helm, the CIS squad has looked like the best in their region, and this event would be the place to prove it.

In the other group, mousesports easily took down North Academy, while EnVyUs edged past BIG after a big comeback from the Germans. Here, Christophe "SIXER" Xia shined, as he and Cédric "RpK" Guipouy powered their way into the winners match. The winners match was slightly unexpected, as the Frenchmen got off to a huge lead on Train, and despite a comeback attempt by mousesports, RpK and SIXER once again closed out the match in the end.
