Triumph add 3ARK00Z as Cooper looks towards VALORANT

With Season 37 coming to an end, Triumph's long-term future is also in question moving forward.

Triumph have confirmed the departure of Austin "Cooper" Abadir following the team's exit from ESEA Premier Season 37 playoffs. In his place, the team have added Omar "3ARK00Z" Elyyan, a Jordanian player who most recently played for GGPR.

Sources close to the team told Dust2.us that Cooper had been evaluating his options for some time, looking towards VALORANT as Triumph's financial woes made it increasingly likely they would be unable to continue supporting a CS:GO team. He was notably absent during the DreamHack Open June Closed Qualifier, with Triumph fielding 3ARK00Z in his place. Dust2.us reached out to Cooper for comment but he did not respond at the time of publication.

Despite this, he elected to help his former teammates during the ESEA Premier Season 37 playoffs, with Triumph claiming a fourth place finish following wins over Party Astronauts and RBG and losses to oNe and paiN.

Although Triumph's roster is once again complete, Dust2.us knows that the long-term future of the team is somewhat uncertain, as with further support from the Triumph organization unlikely, a number of players are weighing their futures in VALORANT.

For now, Triumph are:

  • United States David "cynic" Polster
  • United States Brendan "Bwills" Williams
  • United States Tyler "tweiss" Weiss
  • United States Jeff "RZU" Ngo
  •  Omar "3ARK00Z" Elyyan

Triumph are currently battling through ESEA Summer Cash Cup 2 with their new lineup, although the team are currently fielding Koby "kobruh" Higgs as a stand-in for Tyler "tweiss" Weiss due to the latter being unavailable.
