Asuna rounds out Immortals VALORANT roster

The squad has also picked up Gunba as a coach.

Immortals VALORANT have found their fifth and it is none other than the sixteen-year-old anime aimer, Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk.

Asuna was an up-and-coming talent to watch in CS:GO, quickly having the opportunity to move from the team that bore his name, Asuna's Anime Aimers, to get a shot on Triumph for ESEA MDL Season 33. He posted a respectable 1.03 rating with the team, but was cut due to concerns about his dedication to the game.

Asuna joined the core of the Immortals squad to form Team Jakenbakelive in the Twitch Rivals: VALORANT Launch showdown this past weekend, so his unveiling as the team's fifth is not much of a surprise.

Immortals VALORANT are now:

  • Canada Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette
  • Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar
  • United States Joseph "Bjor" Bjorklund
  • United States Noah "jcStani" Smith
  • United States Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk
  • Australia Jordan "Gunba" Graham (Coach)

Immortals are set to formally debut their full roster as they host their $10,000 Immortals First Light tournament this coming Monday. Invited teams include Gen.G, TSM, Cloud 9, and Swole Patrol. One invite remains and there are two qualifier spots that are yet to be filled as well.
