Ascent and Just Swing finalize rosters ahead of Season 32
With the start of ESEA MDL Season 32 right around the corner, Ascent and Just Swing have finally finalized their respective rosters. Dust2.us has learned that Ascent will be playing with Lucas "Fiziq" Blow, Jonathan "djay" Dallal, and Brandon "BOOBIE" Roberts, while Just Swing have brought in Aleksandar "ALEKSANDAR" Hinojosa and Duncan "raz" Lee.
Ascent have spent the majority of the off-season without a full roster after Kaitlin "Katie" Boop, Chris "riku" Piasecki, and David "Sneaky" Polster left throughout June and July. Since then, the team have used a variety of stand-ins for various qualifiers over the last two months, with djay and Fiziq featuring in multiple lineups.
As for BOOBIE, he spent Season 31 playing with Absolute Mads Lads, with the squad narrowly missing out on MDL after falling to Just Swing in Relegation. This move also marks his return to MDL after having played Season 28 with ex-Atmosphere.
Just Swing meanwhile have parted ways with Chris "Slash" Petersen after putting the player on trial at the start of August. Joining in his place is raz, with the player taking over in-game leading duties for the team. raz had been out of the action since Season 27 when he was replaced on Freedom 35 though he has remained active in FPL since then.
ALEKSANDAR joins Just Swing after playing Season 31 with Front in Advanced. Since then, he has more recently featured as a stand-in with Stay Frosty.
With these changes, Ascent is now:
