New roster solidified for ex-Naventic; seeking organization

After a team overhaul, additions of aproto and kaboose round out the MDL squad.

The finalized roster of ex-Naventic was made public late last night by a Tweet from team manager Jeremy "Jeremy9000" Gray:

As the revitalized roster prepares for Season 27 of ESEA's Mountain Dew League, they welcome players Jake "kaboose" McDonald and Alex "aproto" Protopapas to the team.

The more experienced of the two, kaboose has been unable to find a stable home since the shuttering of Selfless. aproto, who Dust2.us has learned has been released from his CLG contract, is no stranger to the core of this squad, having played with Daniel "impsta" Whaley and Giovanni "Fighter" Leo earlier in the year.

The team slowly fell apart last season as they finished MDL Season 26 with an 8-8 record. After it came to light that the Naventic organization hadn't been paying it's players their due salaries, the team announced their detachment from the partnership. Since then, IGL Arya "arya" Hekmat has left the team and Sam "s0m" Oh was removed due to internal conflicts and lack of growth as a player.

With this announcement, the ex-Naventic roster is now as follows:

  • United States Daniel "impsta" Whaley
  • United States Giovanni "Fighter" Leo
  • Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
  • United States Jake "kaboose" McDonald
  • United States Alex "aproto" Protopapas
  • United States Jeremy "Jeremy9000" Gray (Manager)

The newly minted roster is now on the lookout for a new organization to support them as they look towards MDL Season 27.

Good to see kaboose out there and trying things again. Also refreshing to see someone from the CLG dissolution finding a new home, even if it is in the lower tiers of the scene.

Does anyone know if this also means that XotiC has been released from his contract?
