Swisher joins Monstars in place of alter
Mike "Swisher" Schmid has joined the Monstars ESEA roster, and Dust2.us have been informed by the player that he has replaced Nick "alter" Jackson on the team. This comes only weeks after the Monstars name was revived by Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce.
The trio of Ian "tex" Botsch, Alex "aproto" Protopapas, and alter initially announced their intentions to seek new opportunities following the conclusion of MDL Season 31, but then opted to continue forward with RIKO.
Monstars now have the following roster:
Ian "tex" Botsch- Alex "aproto" Protopapas
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Mike "Swisher" Schmid
The team has been competing in the off-season's various online tournaments, most recently getting knocked out of Mythic Cup 4 by Bushido Boyz. They plan to attend Fragadelphia 13 in September with Shawn "witmer" Taylor in place of aproto, but they are still looking for a fifth for that event as well.
