Is motm the new TenZ?

When Collin "CarbonDogma" Davis spoke with ATK's Johnny "JT" Theodosiou at the MDL Global Challenge, the South African player told us that the team had not yet decided what they would do to replace Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek in the long-term.

Fast forward two weeks, and it now seems that the South African team have set their sights on Party Astronauts member Ian "motm" Hardy, as the former Singularity man is signed up with the team for today's MSI MGA qualifier.

Additionally, Dust2.us have learned that ATK coach Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen has returned to South Africa for medical reasons, and the team have been granted a roster change for ESL Pro League Relegation. However, it is unknown at this time if the team will be permitted to use motm.

ATK's roster for today's qualifier will be:

  • za Johnny "JT" Theodosiou
  • za Rhys "Fadey" Armstrong
  • za Dominic "Domsterr" Sampaio
  • za Robby "blackpoisoN" Da Loca
  • us Ian "motm" Hardy

When contacted by Dust2.us, a member of Party Astronauts said that motm is still on the roster, though a move to ATK is "looking like a permanent thing."
