yay will be replacing Relyks after the ESL One: Cologne Closed Qualifier

yay set to link up with Bad News Bears

The former Complexity member will return to the MDL following the end of his stand-in period with INTZ.

After previously reporting that Will "dazzLe" Loafman was likely going to be on the outs from from Bad News Bears, Dust2.us has learned that Skyler "Relyks" Weaver has also been given his marching orders in favor of former Complexity member Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker.

The change is due to the team feeling that they have "too many passive players", needing someone who can be a playmaker and look for openings. To this end,  Bad News Bears are planning on enlisting the services of yay, who has been largely inactive since being benched at the end of 2018.

However, Bad News Bears will have to wait to finalize their roster as yay is currently committed to INTZ until the end of the ESL One: Cologne Closed Qualifier, as he has been standing in for Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes due to the Brazilian player needing to resolve "personal problems" back home.

Therefore, for the upcoming Mythic Cup and the beginning of the MDL season, Bad News Bears have enlisted the services of Austin "crashies" Roberts until yay is free to join the team.

Bad News Bears' prospective roster is as follows:

  • Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
  • United States Peter "ptr" Gurney
  • United States Mitch "mitch" Semago
  • United States Josh "shinobi" Abastado
  • United States Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker

crashies will make his stand-in debut with Bad News Bears tonight against Royal in the opening match of the second Mythic Cup.
