Despite being one of their best players statistically, Slash is no longer with Front

Front sever ties with Slash, add skelly as coach

On the eve of the start of the new season of MDL, Front find themselves down a man.

Late last night, various members of Front took to Twitter to announce that they were looking for a fifth player for the upcoming season. It was later confirmed by Chris "Slash" Petersen that he had been cut from the team.

When reached by Dust2.us, several members of the team pointed towards issues with Slash's in-game attitude being the impetus for the change. As of the publishing of this article, Dust2.us have not received comment from Slash.

One of the people who posted about the opening on the team was former Thunder Logic and The Fundamentals player Cameron "skelly" Thomson. It has been confirmed to Dust2.us that the Canadian will be fulfilling the coach role for the team.

With the changes, Front have the following roster:

  • Canada Adam "Ange" Milian
  • United States Jason "jmoh" Mohandessi
  • United States Rahul "curry" Nemani
  • United States Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar
  • Canada Cameron "Skelly" Thomson (Coach)

Front's first matches of their inaugural MDL season are set to come against BLITZKRIEG and Singularity.

UPDATE: Despite telling Dust2.us he had no comment on the situation, the player has not been shy on Twitter, saying that his former team "will fail and it will be funny times", as well as that his attitude towards his former teammates is "hatred."
