crashies grabbed himself first place finish at the start of the month

The first two weeks of FPL for March have concluded, with crashies and wippie topping the board in the first and second weeks, respectively. crashies won 20 of the 26 games he played over his week, placing just six points ahead of MarKE to take the top spot. Meanwhile, wippie managed to grab himself his second first place finish this past week, winning 18 out of 24 matches to firmly sit at the top of the standings.

As in previous weeks, a majority of the eUnited roster appeared in the top 20 for the first week of the month, with just Kaleb "moose" Jayne absent from the top end of the leaderboard. FURIA's Andrei "arT" Piovezan continues to make appearances as well, placing in sixth place overall.

A pair of FPL newcomers made the top 20 this past week, with last month's promotee Leighton "vylo" Vieria placing in 17th and recent FPL-C winner Justin "FaNg-JC-" Coakley coming in at 16th. The week also saw the return of Jake "Stewie2K" Yip and Timothy "autimatic" Ta, who returned from the IEM Katowice Major at the start of the month.

The first week of FPL-C for the month also came to a close, with Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak placing top of the pack with 1,120 points having won 28 of his 48 matches played. "VulcaN" was his closest competitor, coming in at second with 1,094 points and 19 victories out of 31 matches played.

FPL-C was not without controversy at the end of the month, with Dust2.us learning of allegations of bribery pointing towards Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar attempting to pay off players to not queue for FPL-C so that he could retain his spot at the top of the standings and qualify for FPL. This was proven to be true, with genghsta being dealt a three-month ban from FACEIT and a trio of players who accepted money being banned for one month each.

Fortunately, the FPL Challenger division filled those holes quite quickly, with the FPL-C Qualifier concluding two days ago and awarding five players with a spot in the league. Among them is former Dust2.us Western Pro League member Blake "Firestar" Houston, who remained in first place for the majority of the day before he was pushed down into second by Dor "w0rblas" Skakun, who ended the qualifier in first place having won 10 of his 14 matches.
