aproto is on the lookout for a new team following his decision to leave Fragging for Andy

aproto and Xp3 no longer Fragging for Andy

Fragging for Andy is down to three members with the departure of aproto and the removal of Xp3

Following their match tonight against oNe, Alex "aproto" Protopapas has announced that he is stepping down from Fragging with Andy and is on the lookout for a new team. Additionally, after reaching out to the team, Dust2.us has learned that David "Xp3" Garrido has been removed from the active roster as the team looks to improve on their 2-6 start to the season.

aproto was one of the original members of the team from the end of last season when they were still sponsored by Vision, alongside Andy "vSa" Xu. His departure comes immediately after playing the team's eighth match of the season, the last one required by ESEA's rules to retain the spot. aproto's decision to search for another team came down to a general dissatisfaction with his role within the team, along with wanting to take a more active role within a new project.

As for Xp3, the team decided to remove him from the active lineup as his play-style did not fully mesh with the rest of the team.

With playoffs likely out of reach at this point, the team hopes to avoid relegation and prepare for Season 31, where they believe motivation will be higher as it will be a promotion season.

As such, Fragging for Andy is now:

  • Canada Andy "vSa" Xu
  • United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
  • United States Austin "crashies" Roberts

Fragging for Andy will be on the lookout for two new members as they are scheduled to face Mythic on the 19th. One thing to note though is that the team do have the option of using Sheila "Pterodactylsftw" Weidman as the OpTic streamer joined as a fully paid member back at the start of January.
