Rickeh seems set to replace yay on compLexity

Following compLexity's announcement of the benching of Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker earlier today, has learned that the team seem to have settled on Rogue's Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland as the player's replacement for the upcoming season, with multiple sources informing us that the player has already signed a contract with compLexity.

Rickeh returned to Australia at the start of December to renew his visa to remain in the United States, with Rogue being forced to field Michael "Uber" Stapells at EPL Relegation to fight for their ESL Pro League spot as the player was still on the team's roster as a substitute.

Having managed to hold on to their license for the upcoming season with Uber, Rogue returned home to play in the IEM Katowice Americas Minor closed qualifier as well as the StarSeries i-League Season 7 qualifier, choosing to play with Danish import Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann in place of Rickeh despite the Australian having returned to the United States.

Rickeh to miss out on StarSeries, Minor qualifiers

Although Rogue fell short in the Americas Minor qualifier, their run through the StarSeries i-League Season 7 qualifier proved successful as they picked up wins over, eUnited, FURIA, and Envy on their road to a first place finish. knows that Rogue are in discussions to bring on TENZKI as a full-time replacement for Rickeh following their win in the qualifier, having already practiced with the player for the past two weeks. TENZKI still remains a part of ALTERNATE aTTaX's roster, although his fellow teammates have begun seeking other ventures, with Florian "syrsoN" Rische being the most recent departee.

As compLexity still hold on to their spot as Legends at the Major, their only worry was the StarSeries qualifier, for which they received a direct invite to the playoffs. They added to a series of lackluster results over the past months with a loss to Envy in the semifinals, eliminating them from contention for a spot at the event. The team also had unsuccessful forays at DreamHack Open Winter and DreamHack Open Atlanta in November and December, finishing the tournaments in 5-6th and 3-4th, respectively.

With the addition of Rickeh, compLexity's roster would look as follows:

  • uk Rory "dephh" Jackson
  • ca Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor
  • ca Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
  • us Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan
  • au Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
  • us Matt "Warden" Dickens (Manager)
  • us Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker (Inactive)

With the IEM Katowice Major roster lock looming on January 1st, an announcement from the compLexity organization is expected soon to confirm the team's roster for the event.

Now it's time to find a New Zealander to replace one of the Canadians and pick up NeiL_M for the ultimate English speaking team
