Seriously? Noooo

fnatic bench flusha; to attend ESL One New York with ScreaM

The Headshot Machine will become only the second non-Swede to play for the organizations current iteration.

fnatic have announced that long-time (barring his spell in GODSENT) member Robin "flusha" Rönnquist has been benched from the team. The move comes less than a week after the team failed to make the FACEIT London Major playoffs, the first time the organization has missed out on Legend status.

With fnatic looking to "begin work towards a revised team culture", a more pressing need is the team attending ESL One New York in a few days. Intriguingly, they have opted to play the event with Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom, who most recently represented EnVyUs.

Following the team's release from EnVyUs, ScreaM attended the FACEIT Major London Europe Minor with LeftOut, and also did some stand-in duty for 3DMAX.

fnatic's roster for ESL New York will be:

  • Sweden Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
  • Sweden Jesper "JW" Wecksell
  • Sweden Richard "Xizt" Landström
  • Sweden William "draken" Sundin
  • Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom
  • Sweden Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson (Coach)

ESL One New York will kick-off on September 26th, just shortly after the ongoing FACEIT Major concludes. The event will see eight teams fight for the majority of the $250,000 prize pool.
