Swole Patrol look to FYB with swag and MarKE
After parting ways with Samuel "SileNt" Portillo and Derrick "LILMAN" Boyne this past week, Swole Patrol have been on the hunt for two new members to round out their squad.
A tweet from the organization now confirms the addition of Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez and Braxton "swag" Pierce from FYB, with Swole Patrol already having debuted with their new players against NRG in the semifinals of the StarSeries i-League Season 6 qualifier where they were flexed on by Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and company.
The change follows middling results for Swole Patrol, who finished Season 28 of ESEA's MDL in 5th place overall but fell 2-0 to Gorilla Gang in the quarterfinals. The team also found themselves eliminated from the Americas Minor earlier in the month by NRG and Não Tem Como, while their foray at ZOTAC Cup Masters in Santa Ana saw them eliminated in their opening matchup against Sharks.
MarKE and swag's addition to the team comes after FYB also dropped in the quarterfinals of MDL playoffs to Vision 2-1, with lackluster results in other online qualifiers seeing the team eliminated early on. The change also follows rumors of Ghost considering the addition of FYB Frenchie Anthony "gMd" Guimond after having removed Matt "Pollo" Wilson earlier today.
With this change, Swole Patrol's roster consists of:

Swole Patrol currently have no matches lined up as they await the start of MDL Season 29, but it is expected that they will continue to participate in upcoming online qualifiers for tournaments.
