Maybe they might win a big event again on a new org

Immortals swipe right on MIBR

They finally addressed the elephant in the room.

MIBR, who were recently bought by Noah Whinston of Immortals, have announced the signing of the SK lineup, the organization has announced at their event today to nobodies surprise. This ends the long months of rumors of this move occurring.

At the recent ESL One Belo Horizonte, this lineup placed top four, defeating Ghost and Space Soldiers in the group stage, but losing to mousesports in the semifinals. They also won Moche XL Esports over HellRaisers.

MIBR has not been involved in Counter-Strike since 1.6, where they hosted some of the most successful Brazilian lineups of all time. Immortals has been without a team since December 2017, dropping their previous Brazilian squad also featuring Ricardo "boltz" Prass and Lucas "steel" Lopes.

Here is the new MIBR roster:

  • Brazil Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
  • Brazil Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
  • Brazil Marcelo "coldzera" David
  • Brazil Ricardo "boltz" Prass
  • United States Jake "Stewie2K" Yip
  • Brazil Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia (Manager/Coach)

MIBR will next play at ESL One Cologne 2018 on July 3rd followed by the ELEAGUE Premier on July 21st. For ESL Pro League and ECS, the fate of the team's spots have not been decided yet. It is likely that the players will be able to keep their EPL spot, but very unlikely they will retain the ECS one.
