Rickeh has been inactive since the disbanding of CLG
ESL Pro League sides Splyce and Ghost have added some international flair to their ESEA rosters, with the additions of Australian Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland and Mexican Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez, respectively.
Both players have largely been inactive in official play recently, with Rickeh being out of the action since the old CLG roster disbanded. MarKE has partaken in official play infrequently since parting ways with No Tenemos Nada, however has been having a splendid time farming FPL.
While MarKe joined the Ghost roster just before 3 PM EDT, it appears that Rickeh did not slither onto Splyce's roster until after 8 PM EDT. As such, his eligibility to play for the team for the remainder of the season is in question as the trade deadline was 5 PM EDT yesterday.
It is not known who (or even if) the players will replace on each team, however the clear candidate on Ghost would be Tramaine "stan1ey" Stanley. The Brit has struggled in his first season at the Pro League level, sitting well below his 1-something average rating whilst playing in the UK.
The situation for Splyce is less clear, as Rickeh's weapon of choice in the big green gun is handled capably by young gun Zack "XotiC" Elshani. Veterans David "DAVEY" Stafford and Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen have both seen drop offs in form of late, and may be candidates for replacement.
Regardless of how the moves shake out, both teams have much riding on their final EPL matches of the season. Ghost, who currently sit just outside of the relegation zone, have a date with Alec "Slemmy" White and compLexity in a match-up that will likely directly determine which team has to head to Leicester.
Splyce on the other hand are currently in position to play relegation, and have the unenviable task of taking on Cloud9 to try to avoid that fate.
